The 1st and 2nd round draws will include five Newstalk A Championship clubs, 16 intermediate sides and four junior clubs. The 1st round draw will consist of five games with the remaining 15 teams receiving a bye to the 2nd round of the competition. Included in the draw are last year's FAI Umbro Intermediate Cup finalists Bluebell United and Crumlin United (pictured right) alongside this year's FAI Umbro Junior Cup semi-finalists. They will all be joined by the Newstalk A Championship clubs, Castlebar Celtic, Cobh Ramblers, FC Carlow, Tralee Dynamos and Tullamore Town.
The draws for the FAI Ford Senior Cup First and Second Rounds will be conducted by FAI President, David Blood and former Republic of Ireland and Shamrock Rovers striker, Mick Leech.
