Maybe playing your average english third division league game is better than playing some eL games aginst bottom of the table teams. But how can scraping against relegation in the english 3rd division be a step up from near the top of the eL & playing in Europe?
- While Foran was handy in the eL it just shows you how much better the defenses are here when he can knock in a good few goals in england with a poor side.
- Maher obviously didn't think Carlisle was a step up as he comfortably dealing with 2nd division defenders.
