I have a 2.3 metre and a 1.2 metre with motors but want to experiment with fixed dishes and different LNBs etc.
A man after my own heart. I spent many a night and many a day messing with my dishes without every bothering watching anything! there is no fun in that! There are some cheap suppliers in Germany who sell decent gear even with the shipping costs it works out well. Will dig out a few links for you.Quote:

use a multitude of boxes from technomates, Dreamboxes, Eagle, Dark Box. getting into pretty much everything open source (Linux) for educational purposes only though.
Actuator is a a big 24 inch 24 volt power tech. Weighs nearly a stone by itself
