rte last night:
anyone witnessing the after match conversation between the "experts" after the real match last night would have witnessed a vintage eamo performance.
when commenting about bechams lack of ability he referred bill to the "world class player" sitting beside him __john giles.

giles reaction:absolutely blanked the comment.
any time eamo asked giles something (about 5 times at least),giles answered the question to bill as if he asked it.no matter how hard eamo tried

are so bad on Irish television that i turn the sound during the panel discussions. Frank Stapleton should not be left anywhere near a mike.
Eamonn Dunphy on the other hand has watched way too much sky sports and need to watch football outside of England more often - evidenced by his bombastic backing of manchester united against porto which totally rebounded on him. Liam Brady is easily the best of the pundits, and knows his stuff.

I'd agree that Brady's probably the best but I think Gilsey can make good tactical points that they often fail to see on the British channels.Ray Houghton is not bad either.And whatever your opinions of Dunphy it must be said the show is more interesting with him around.

dunphy is just there for the controversy. He's the most hypocritical sack of ****e this country has ever produced. When Beckham was at Man U, he slated him constantly. Now he's at Real, he slates him as well, but mainatins that Utd miss him and he was quality when he was there. YAWN :rolleyes:
