A Championship to be Scrapped ?

A Championship to be scrapped? This is only a rumour so i cant quote a source or anything? Anyone else hear anything similar?

There were rumours, but at the league review meeting last week it wss made clear it would continue. Dundalk wanted to put forward a motion to abolish it, much to their discredit in my opinion.

Scrapped and replaced with what? Surely clubs need to have a reserve team to keep squad players match fit

A reserve league should be set up IMO.
