Time to move on, who do we want in our group, I certainly want a 6 team group as it's an extra trip

My choices are based on revenge as im still bitter from Weds and couldnt stomach playing France again in the short term, Faroes are thrown in for having fog the last time and stopping me getting there:D

Would agree with you except swap Switzerland for Romania and Faroe Islands for San Marino, wouldn't fancy Faroe Islands with all of Brian Kerrs inside info available.

But knowing our luck it'll be Spain, Serbia, Slovenia, Montenegro & Azerbaijan.

If it's the latter, we should lobby Iceland, Greenland, Canada & the US for a mid-Atlantic group in with the Inuits. We might finally find justice....

If we do get France, being top seeds they'll have all the clout at the fixtures meeting, and will get pretty much whatever they want. Would be nice to play them again in Paris first though.

How about a Yugoslavian group. What the odds of this happening?

Considering the FIFA association is as corrupt as fianna fail I dont think we will get France - Platini and Blatter will not allow it..

Let's merge all the five FAs into one- they couldn't fail to qualify even if there was a blind referee/ FIFA conspiracy/ fixed playoff with Slovenia.

I.e. is it the first 2 qualify for the first and then 2nd teams into a (fixed and seeded) playoff?
