Best Man speechs

anybody know a good site where i can find best man speechs.

i've heard over 200 and i can say just be natural....is it the speech or getting up in front of a room full of people to talk ???? google it.....

its the speech! although getting up in front of all those people worries me too.

never met 95% of them :(

all the better, will one thing, first thing...on behalf of the bride and groom (first names ) and don't say mr and mrs X, a lot of brides hate that....complement the brides maids and the mothers of the bride and groom....

tell one funny story or remark and once you get a laugh you'll be fine.....another thing is know who are doing speechs so you know who is before and after you......don't bore people with lot sof telegrams ( guests hate that ) and if people start to cough they are bored....thank the priest as well and don't forget the toast at the end......pm me if you neeed any other info ( as part of my service to wedding couples i can help out with this sort of thing )

if anybody has any more suggestions i'll be glad to hear them.

The telegrams are the worst, if you can, get someone else to do them, if not, put all the names together and just say "we have telegrams offering congratulations from the following people", rattle off the list, believe me, no-one that bothered to turn up cares about the ones that didn't.

Max is spot on, know the running order......
Remember the priest will give the blessing before the meal

Ask the Maid of honour if she wants to be reffered to as 'chief bridemaid' or she'll deck you.

Bring a Glass with you so you have something in your hand for the toasts, easy to forget that.

Don't swear, the grannies don't like it.

Compliment the Bride and the bridesmaids and the moms.

Remember, after the speech, you could get called on to present flpwers or make another announcement, so don't drink a bottle of wine with the relief that the speech is over(someone who posts here will remember me doing that ;) :D :D

It's actually not that bad, people are usually decent, will know that it's not a usual thing for the guy and give him a chance.
