This has been bubbling up inside me for the last few days. I just feel so sick with frustration and disappointment. We're in real trouble. I know that members of the committee are reading this and tut-tutting that it doesn't look well for the club but tough. Deal with it. Just like I have to deal with the fact that we've failed to get a First Division license, have no players signed for next season, have lost one of the best teams in the division, probably in its entirity. We are right on the cusp of going out of senior football and it hurts so much. We had so much to build on after last season but it's not going to happen now. After doing so well last year it now looks more likely that we're going to just curl and fade away into obscurity. This should not be allowed to happen. If I was one of the people running the club, I'd have taken a weeks holiday from work and breaking my back trying to salvage the situation. I'd be formulating plans B and C in case things don't work out. I'd go through the whole bloody alphabet to get our house in order. So now, just weeks before the season starts we're in limbo, with, at a push, five or six players. This is an unqualified disaster. The club would seriously be better off entering a team of supporters for the season. If we lost every game 10/12-0 and din't score all season it would be better than losing our league status. This is a nightmare. I'm just crossing my fingers that somebody shows some vision and pulls a rabbit out of a hat and saves the day. But we're running out of time. And hope is drying up too. :(

/the way you have descibed the organisation(:D )of lfc
defies belief.is it that your commitee are dinosaurs or is it that they lack experience.the hemmorage of players that you describe without any effort to find replacements is mind numbingly stupid.
does nobody in authority at the club have any interest any more.?.
i dont know what kind of breakdown in age you have on the commitee, but it sounds like you need young new blood at board level to try and instill some of the enthusiasm you yourself exude.
maybe you could fill us in tomorrow on how your meeting went

KEEPING THE FAITH
It is hard to believe that the LFC has come so far last season to see it come to a final and bitter reality of fighting for survival.
It just goes to show that outside of the pail the powers that be are not interested in helping out.
Surely, it is in the best interest of the League to maintain potentialy viable teams league status and give support and guidance to struggling clubs.
hopefully we will see LFC in the coming season. :ball:
