eircom League media statement

At this evening's (Thurs Feb 12th) eircom League Management Committee meeting, club representatives re-iterated their support and commitment to the standards outlined in the FAI Club Licensing Manual, notwithstanding that those criteria exceed the UEFA minimum standards.

The eircom League clubs are concerned that the timeframe to achieve those criteria requires adjustment and it was agreed that the eircom League will ask the FAI to seek a review of the timescale for each of the separate licensing criteria.
