Comment re Miller and Longford Town
I've been asked to clarify a comment made re Liam Miller and Longford Town re wages.
Miller is earning £800 per week at Celtic. My comment that Longford were even offering more than that is now I believe technically an exaggeration as I believe a recent signing from Bohs Paul Keegan is being offered €1,000 per week for a 52 week contract. £800 sterling per week is still slightly more than €1,000.. Other clubs notably Bohs still have players earnign more than Miller.
Anyway the point I was trying to make was that Miller had every right to walk and his wages in this day and age having performed so well in the Champions League were a joke.
Absolutely no offence meant to your club and best of luck for the season. i really enjoyed being in the west stand last October the day you won the cup.
