There was a good mention about him in fridays mirror. It was an awful pity that Longford Town werent mentioned it was all Drogheda Utd:(

In fairness they played way more of a role in his development than we did. He only had one full season with us. At the end of the day they're his Irish club and will always be very closely associated with them.

True but we did give him his break in the LOI after Pats fecked him about. We didn't make him by any means but he probably wouldn't have signed for Drogs if he hadn't impressed for us first. Alan Mathews had a good record of developing young defenders with Dillon, Paisley and Gartland or maybe he had an eye for good up and coming defensive talent. Anyhow, good to see him doing well in Scotland long may it continue.
