FAI and FIAT in €1 million agreement


The FAI has concluded a new agreement with Fiat Auto Ireland valued at over €1 million.

As the existing car sponsor, Fiat and the FAI have agreed an improved arrangement for both parties. The new deal sees Fiat gain increased exposure and improved promotional opportunities with the FAI receiving increases in marketing support and vehicles.

“The new deal reflects a strengthened commitment between both organisations as we enter a very exciting period for football in Ireland”, said Fran Rooney CEO of the FAI. “We’re delighted that Fiat is an integral part of the FAI team moving forward”, he added.

Sounds like another feather in the Rooney cap. One million squeezed out of FIAT to become 'vehicle sponsors'. It all bodes well for the renegotioation with Eircom.
