Bohs sign Howlett as part-time coach

Former Republic of Ireland midfielder Gary Howlett has joined Bohemians’ coaching staff to fill in the vacancy left by Liam O’Brien, who departed last week for Premier Division rivals Shamrock Rovers.

40-year-old Howlett will assist Bohs boss Stephen Kenny on a part-time basis, following a season spent as assistant manager to Bobby Browne at Monaghan United. The Dalymount Park side’s U21 boss Gino Brazil and Howlett will share the assistant manager role for the coming season.
