We should do well in this this year with no A League team.
why no A team lads?
i would hazzard a guess and say its because their not in the premier and therefor are not required to have an A team...its not exactly financialy viable...
Apparently it was a lack of players; we have 28 in the squad, but the U-20s team will be composed out of that too. Though saving money didn't exactly hurt.
Fixtures are here
First game is this Sunday at 12, I think - home to Longford. John Dineen's the only suspension, but as he's left the club, that's kind of moot.
Where's he gone? Playing hurling if this is him.http://www.southernstar.ie/article.php?id=1304
Shame, should have been starting for us with Bolger been injured.
I think the club are going back to basics, which means the academic side of things is just as important as the football side of things.
We beat Longford 2-1 at the weekend. Conor Melvin and Keith Ward.
Where do the 20s play as I might visit next week if it's The Bowl and knock another ground of my list
2-0 tonight away to Bray.
Good result, I don't know how strong Bray's u20s are this year but they were a fine side last season. Outclassed us out there the last time we played them.
Usually the Bowl I think, although I've not been to a home game.
Sure you're coming to the Bowl in a couple of weeks anyway?
Edit - line-up and brief report from last night. Strong team out.
