JUST (Junior United Supporters Trust)

In light of recent financial difficulties myself and two other members, have come up with an idea of setting up of such a club. Our aim is to get more young people involved in Galway United FC and encourage them to go to games. We have been thinking about this idea for a while and we would welcome feedback from all members.

First of all we would like it to be for U18s to give people of this age more of a say. We would NOT be seperate to GUST and I'll show ye why in a minute, we would be like a feeder trust to them.

Our Main Aims would be
Provide volunteers on match night (e.g. programme sellers)
Eventually, when we get enough money, sponsor a player.
Help out with match promotion, getting more people to put up posters
Our annual membership fee would be between E10-E20. For every membership received, E5 would go towards GUST
Become more involved by contributing to the match programme

I'd welcome any feedback or questions members may have, even those that would not be eligible for this club

Annual Membership fee for the trust is E10....money can be returned at tomorrows match in the Showgrounds or in Terryland on Thursday against Derry

First Meeting this Thursday, 6.30pm, Terryland Park (upstairs in clubhouse). Anyone doing exams is under no obligation to be there. Anyone else who can't make it is advised to post here so that we don't end up waiting around for people to come

Meeting didn't go ahead last Thursday due to too many absentees (myself included).
