Loan Players

Does anybody know whether loan players can play against their parent clubs?

Is there a rule?

Or is it up to the clubs to decide?

As far as I know it is a decision between clubs

It would be a clause in the contract afaik. Not sure if it's standard though.

Yeah, it's up to the clubs to agree in advance. Sean Kelly couldn't play for us against Cork.
