I think we can get a win here if we're lucky.
I'm pretty sure the match is on Saturday, not Friday as previously thought.

we have a better away record if you go by last season.. the game is defo sat nite as finn harps are playin their home games on saturdays for the rest of the season.. will play it safe and go for a draw.. reckon there may be a better crowd up for ballybofey on sat than fri. anyone off this forum goin?? first proper match this season for me...
What time are we all meeting up for the fight at? As per the details in TV3's Lawless Ireland I would imagine its going to be a fairly abrasive affair. If any of ye want to join in the Section O faithful as we crash, bust & burn our way through Ballybofey then just contact me on Bebo.
Talk to A Harp,
Gain trust of the Harp,
Beat the Harp,
Find another Harp.......
Good call Salmon Coloured. We'll meet ye for a right old ruck at the train station in Ballybofey.
Bring plastic bags, because we'll be sending ye home in them.
Bring it!!!!
Oooohhhh its on now. Someone hold me back!!!
Run Away Harps! Run Away Harps! Da Section O Boyz roool!
So is there many Town fans headin up to this? The Supporters Bus has been canceled I heard:( I think we could win this one with a bit of luck!
Oh and Mr.A, if ya know whats good for ya, you won't mess with us Section O boys. We'l beat ya to a pulp;)
Just looking at the team from Finn Park on extratime and there's a Murtagh and Hoaro, I'm presuming its Hoare. Are them 2 lads from the youth set up? Very young bench with Brennan, Lee and them2 lads on it. I wouldn't say Nicholson is too old either. Whats up with Jinks tonight?
He was suspended for tonight cos of yellow cards picked up with Athlone last season.
3 red cards from our first 2 games of the season....it's like back in the old John Cleary days!!!
Just 2 games in and that's almost certain that the 2 in a row will not be achieved this season. Was so looking forward to celebrating another title at the end of the year. Ah well next year we might get back a few of the lads who were afraid of 'The Tackle' :D
Was none of the subs used yesterday?
Paper today states Hoare and Murtagh came on in the last 10 mins
I was at the match last night. I thought we deserved a draw. the game turned on a controversial penalty given .Stephen Gough was harshly given the red card when in fact he chested it. It was really Brendan Murphy that collided with the harps attacker. the Liam Lynch sending off was well deserved from a fracas in the middle of the pitch it was for afters.
We dont really have a creative spark in midfield. Harps had so many chances to score in the second half .
Town team
Murphy
Kenny Gough Sheridan King
Concannon Russo Curran Lynch
Glynn McCartney
Subs: Hoare for Concannon,Murtagh for Curran
other subs:Lee Brennan Nicholson
Would I be right in saying all them subs apart from Nicholson came through the youth ranks?
What positions do Hoare and Murtagh play? And what is their first names? Is Lee a left back? I'm out of the loop here so any info would be great. Oh and thanks Marty for puttin up the teamsheet, it was going to be another question of mine!!! :D
owen hoare is a striker or winger, brian murtagh is a centre midfielder or winger...both are just 18 and both came through the underage...mick lee is a left back...3 of them are playin with the under 18s still...hoare is from roscommon and murtagh is from lanesboro..hoare would be far of relation of peter malone, the under18 manager,he would be cousins with peters wife..hope thats good enough,oh and nickelson is only 21 at the most...
Thanks for that Howsyourtouch. Just trying to keep my stats up to date. A bit difficult when I'm the far side of the Atlantic. Still trying to keep up to date with all the happenings going on with the Town!!!
