Bohs fans will know as their club have already spent the winnings for coming 1st in the league and cup for the 2009 season and getting to the group stages of the CL.
Every clubs final figure at the end of season has their fines subtracted from it, isn't that correct? So the FAI are taking half it back anyway!? 26% jump! sure we'll see a 26% jump in fines next year as well!:p

Id take 80K of the premier winners and give teams in 2nd - 8th place and extra 10K each and 5 each for the bottom two.
This kinda prize money differential only causes to speculate with money they havent got to try to land the top prize.

The more fines dished out to get clubs to get their act together the better if you ask me!
FFS a few clubs didnt even bother sending players along to the league launch today and certain clubs players just barely got there on time. Not good enough!

In any event, I think our clubs have been doing plenty of (over) striving the last couple of years, and should probably stop for a while.

I don't think the FAI takes the money for referees though. But still, interesting figures.
Thats much better than previously. Obviously fees come out, but a few years ago 10th would have got nothing and would have paid 10k in fees.
