the new compilation to benefit children of war-torn areas. i think they put one out every few years. obviously a good cause but this one's curious, the titular "heroes" are big name acts like dylan and u2, and they choose younger artists to cover one of their songs. cool idea. dylan chooses beck for one of his, u2 chooses elbow, iggy pop chooses peaches. pitchfork has a review of it, seemed to like it overall.
