The Final 32

It is very early doors but my enthusiasm for the World Cup is building with every passing week. Just over a year to go and it's warming up to be a great tournament.
I've been doing my maths in World Soccers excellent World Cup Service section and even though theres a bit of guess work involved and a whole lot of maybe and buts, I've taken a stab at what I think the next World Cup could be like in terms of Qualifiers.

So, here's my 32:
Hosts: South Africa
CAF: Cameroon, Tunisia, Egypt, Mali and Ivory Coast.

Concacaf: U.S.A, Mexico and Costa Rica. (Honduras play-off)

Conmebol: Paraguay, Brazil, Argentina, Chile (Uruguay play-off)
(Uruguay to qualify over two legs with Honduras.)

Asia: Australia, Japan, South Korea, Iran.(North Korea play-off)
(North Korea to qualify over two legs with New Zealand)

Europe: Portugal, Greece, Czech Rep., Germany, Spain, England, France, Italy, Holland.
Play-offs: Sweden, Swiss, Russia, Belgium, Croatia, Serbia, Ireland, Norway.
Big guess time!
Ireland, Croatia, Sweden and Norway to qualify from play offs!

I canny do it big man, your just not strong enough at present.
Plus the Norweigans have Egil Olsen back and beat Germany in Germany last week!!

This is my guess at Final positions:

North America
Mexico
USA
Honduras
(Costa Rica)

Brazil

8 out 9 of them, any 1 of them could easily lose out, most likely Scotland

Its a little hard to predict which teams will win playoffs.

Chile look good and have a decent run in, I'd fancy them over Ecuador.

I can see Ecuador going on a crazy run of goals, they create so many chances but not taking them, I think those chances will eventually go in and help them progress up the table.

I'd prefer if you were right. Really enjoyed watching them at last World Cup.
If they had a little more belief they would have beaten a poor England side.
That was their only low point from my point of view as the 3-0 against Germany mattered little.
