what I have to do or download to get audio to work on my laptop when playing a dvd? It's fine at all other times but when I pop a dvd in I get "audio format not supported by the current application. Please launch %s in MCE."
What's the "%s" ??? Checked the default settings on the control panel and it plays the DVD using Windows Media Player. It's an Acer 5735 and runs Windows Vista Basic.
Any help appreciated. Thanks guys.

Google VLC mesia player. It's a free application that will play and dvd, downloaded movie or music file. Can't imagine my laptop without it.
It plays everything and its free.
