Cork City may be forced to subject up to six players to fitness tests ahead of Friday night’s clash with Shamrock Rovers at Turners Cross.
With centre half and skipper Dan Murray and Greg O’Halloran, who filled in at right back earlier in the week, both suspended, manager Pat Dolan could do without a minor flu epidemic sweeping through his squad.
But that is what has transpired on Leeside, and full backs Neal Horgan and Alan Carey, midfielder Colin T. O’Brien, winger Liam Kearney and forwards Kevin Doyle and George O’Callaghan are all feeling the effects of the virus to a greater or lesser degree.
looks like a some of the U21s maybe playing twice in less than 24 hours......

"Better news for the Shed faithful will be the return to the starting line-up of leading scorer John O’Flynn, who missed ten weeks with a knee injury before making an hour-long substitute appearance against Longford three days ago.
He has suffered no adverse reaction following that game, and should be restored to the line-up for the first time since August as he tries to add to his 14 league goals to date this season"
what about him hobbling a bit after the longford game?
"Former Cork City man Alan Reynolds will escape another hot welcome back to the Cross as he is suspended" lucky cnut!
