Groundbreaking news from the Flansiro indicates that this season has not been the total waste we initially thought and has provided one of the few national awards to elude LTFC over the past few years. That award is.....the First Division Fair Play winners. Providing some unbelievably welcome prize money apparently, the club would I'm sure like to thank all those who didn't make a tackle all year and showed little desire to argue with officialdom even when things weren't going their way. Well done chaps and we look forward to joining UCD (presumably, they always win) in the Fair Play Hall Of Fame for 2008.

A welcome boost. I think Gallagher's sending off against Limerick at home in May was our only red card of the season.

Although possibly without it we would have finished 10 or 15 points up the League table.

No surprises that we won this as we had no one willing to put in a tackle all season, much needed cash though so we will take it

Where'd you see this? Who won the Premier Division award? I know we were fined orders of magnitude less than any other Premier Division team, but we were last year too and came last.

Somebody in our club told me, they had been told by Michael Hayes of the League as far as I know. I didn't hear who won the Premier award.
