Buying a Laptop advice?

Hi all,

I'm buying a new laptop this week - happy to pay about stg£400. Any advice? It'll be used mostly for new football manager and the usual - internet, DVDs, iTunes etc.

Wise to search for laptopsdirect.ie on the web before you buy, particularly Boards.ie. If you can self-support you'll probably be fine, but after that...

Same goes for Dell, although I do find that most of the Dell kit Just Works.
