Does the home team have to provide Showers/Wash Facilities for the away team. I know this may not be necessary for local leagues but what about National competitions? Example: FAI Junior Cup - a team from Cork travelling to Waterford, must the Waterford Team provide the above mentioned?

Simple answer is no Gaffer. All you have to have for the open rounds is an enclosed pitch, wether it be roped or fenced an a way of takin a gate(ie entrence fee) to go towards the cost of the officals an if theres anythin left its split between the 2 clubs. We were cought in the same position over the last 2 seasons when we had teams travellin to Cork in the Mjc or Fai an all we did was to arrange showers for the travellin (as near to our place as possible) side so they could have one after the game, courtesy basically an it was much appricated I must say.We played the quaters of the Fai applyin this way of doin things an none of the travellin sides or the Fai /Mjc had a problem with it.Hope this helps.
