Yeh I had a feeling he'd be out for a long time. He's their most influential player without a doubt. We could field a much better team than them on paper. Trap says 7 points from these 3 home games was the aim. That surely has to have gone up to 9.
Which Petrov, Martin or Stilyan?
Petrov seems to be made of glass, constantly injured for City as well as Bulgaria for the last year. Comes back and gets injured again immediately
Poor lad feel sorry for him and Stephen Reid. Tough luck and I hope both come back.
I hope Reid comes back and Petrov is injured until Bulgaria are out of the WC
Seems that Petrov will actually make our match.
Mark Hughes: "It not his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) this time, he's got a tear in his meniscus that will need to be repaired.
"Although it's good news about the ACL it's still a bad injury and he will be out for three or four months."
He should be back at least a month before our game.
Lucky guy wish I had his injury. Best of luck to him hope he makes a recovery
Petrov out again, for sure this time, we think.
confirmed on man city's site: http://www.mcfc.co.uk/default.sps?pa...newsid=6621886
Hughes said 3-4 months on Sky Sports News at lunchtime.
I read somewhere (don't have the source to hand) that the Bulgarians are lining up a Brazilian, Joćozinho, as his replacement ... he plays for Levski Sofia and I can only presume he married a local girl .. although I would have thought the process would take longer than that. Seems to have a decent left foot.
