Oh the A league!!! :( I was (the only one?) there. It was freezing. We conceded two in the first two minutes, were four down by half time and didn't start to play until about 60 minutes in. I know they're only kids and I really don't want to offend anyone but our keeper could literally have stayed at home. We hit the post and missed an open net but didn't deserve anything really. The last two goals were complete slop.
To be fair our midfield was grand but we didn't have a defence - no shape at all. As I said, mostly kids and I don't want to offend anyone. I was really impressed with Shiels though - he gave it loads of talk and was really encouraging. He seems sharp enough to be honest.
