I guess this will probably be moved, but I'd like to let people hear yet another piece of LoI absurdity. We can win the league on Friday up in Utd. Park and,so, naturally, most Bohs fans would like to be there. Now, normally, for matches up there, Drogs send down tickets to Dalymount since the away end holds approx. 500, and despite what folk from Derry seem to think, we have quite decent away support; there's usually a few tickets left on the night, but this system prevents long queues and assures those who have to leave Dublin in rush hour of getting in.
So, for possibly the most important game between the clubs for a while - well important for one club - what do Drogs do? make a limited number of tickets available on Ticketmaster (they claim - actually hard to find them apparently) and sell the rest on the gate. Now, if we're going to be limited to the normal away shed, there's no way everyone will fit, and if they close the gate, there'll be a riot. As well as this, if there is to be a limit, the way things work in Bohs is that members get first dibs; obviously this situation could mean members locked out.
Why, I hear you ask.... well *allegedly* Drogs owe us money for the rental of Dalymount for their CL matches and suspect that, if they were to send down tickets, they wouldn't see the proceeds......
