Derry appear to be seeking an award for involvement of most unusual scoreline, as they lost 3-4 the other week.

This may have been a result neither team wanted. Probably not though, it puts a huge hole in each's challenge. UCD can guarantee winning Group 2 tomorrow against St. Pat's by beating them. But that's not guaranteed.

Also, if one of the non-reserve sides finish in the top four (possibly Mervue United), they get the opportunity to take on the bottom placed side in the LOI First Division in a promotion/relegation playoff.Quote:
