A Race night has been organised for sat 18th OCT after the UCD game.
This is the first of several fundraisers that has been agreed to run to help the players financially between now and the end of the season.
Please support this cause and remember this should in no way be affected by the off the field struggles at the moment. The players really need our backing and support at this crucial stage of the season.
Thanking You

This is a very positive thread yet it has only attracted a handful of replies yet if it was about getting rid of the committee or a members meeting etc etc then we would be looking at 5/6 pages of posting. Where are all the so called Cobh "blue and claret till i die" rambler fans that normally post coming in to say id like to help, give me some tickets to sell. BTW i have contacted one of the people already to get a sheet to sell. Pull the finger out now lads its time for action not moaning/bitching etc etc etc

Must sound too cool and easygoing for all those who are used of being in hypermode here, but its all about supporting the players, so if anyone wants to help out or sell on a card to friends & family, contact us and we'll readily oblidge!

On Saturday Oct 4th with the help of Garveys Super Valu a family fun day is being organised. Kevin the manager is a City & Ramblers fan and in fairness he is putting up some prizes on the day. We will have the Soccer Challenge goals, face painters etc weather permitting. Also volenteers would be needed to help out with a bag packing collection, 1hr is needed. Luka I have sent you an email on this.
Lads we have a chance to turn things around, our example should be like the players & the way they are approaching things, just read that Alan Carey has cut his work by 3 days so he could concentrate on Ramblers & staying up. Lets be positive & focus on the solution.
Thanks Lads :)

I am not sure if there would be much interest in this but anyway....an idea.
I got a letter this morning advertising the Cork County GAA draw for next year with some great prizes.
I wonder could be do something like that? Cobh Tourism did a draw recently to raise money for outdoor entertainment during the liner season and the prize was a trip on a liner. I wonder could we organize something like that??
