Waterford United have announced that assistant manager and Head Coach, Giles Cheevers, along with Under-21 Assistant Manager, Richard O'Connor are to join with team manager Jimmy McGeough to form a Team Management Committee.

The Blues' board also said that they are disappointed with a series of interviews which McGeough gave to the national media throughout last weekend.

The board says that some of the comments amounted to a direct personal challenge to the position of General Manager and Club Chairman, Ger O' Brien.

McGeough has been instructed to refrain from further public comments without first consulting with the board.
