Interesting site, wws! Well updated too. Fans comments very good and whoever writes your match previews is brilliant
Gerry
I liked the ol' "One to Watch" trick..........tell us to be on our gaurd against James Mulligan while knowing Cahill was going to have one of those nights....we should a just printed the song
"He's bald, He's Sh1t,
He's Gettin On a bit
Mulligan, Mulligan"
Ps SAW the first goal again on rte sports news......on closer inspetion and with the benefit of tv replay...it was a bloody cracker
we really should have a goal of the season thinggy set to music like bbc match of the day...possibly with a phone in vote....play it at half time in internationals on the telly....(hhhhmmmmm I think I better post this elsewhere now!) shure shounds like an idea!
Apparently RTÉ missed a cracker in Dalymount when Bohs played UCD. F Harkin I think. That one we'll just have to imagine but you get my point that to be fair it would require cameras at every game or else it would just be "Goal Caught On Camera, Of The Month"!Quote:

Sure if the clubs gave a s*** they could easily get a local supporter to man the club camera at home games. Asdie from the tv publicity value theres so many other uses like coaching etc.... that couldn't cost much to run except for initial camera cost.
Anyone know how much a camera (would have to be better than a camcorder) cost?
made a start with what they had it would be force them to get as many goals as poss....that means ionly sendin the one camera a la Richmond Park on Friday,,,,,,,,,,catch my drift?
they dont have to send a whole crew.....great advert made for the el to a largewr audience....without the boredom of having to watch a full game....which rarely works on live tv as our football stadia just dont get the right atmos for the majoirity of games
ha? ha? ha?
I think its a good idea
Apparently the goals from last Friday night can be downloaded from the RTE website , from the SIX ONE news section. Although due to my technical abilities I hopelessly failed to get anywhere.
Any help lads??
I can't find it now, though it was there yesterday - they seem to take them down as quickly as they put them up.

De Town must give a sh!t as we've had a camera at all home games so far (forgot to check on Sat, but no doubt someone will correct me). First home league game of the season is being released - 'And they used to be a big club...'Quote:
