Terenure FC v Kilbarrack United Terenure FC will face one of the biggest games in the clubs history as they take on AUL giants Kilbarrack United in the Leinster Senior Cup this Saturday in the VEC Grounds, Terenure. Reigning UCFL Premier Division, Challenge Cup and Premier Shield winners Terenure will have to be at their very best if they want to upset the odds against last season’s AUL Premier and FAI Junior Cup runners up Kilbarrack. Terenure have already caused ...

UCFL Challenge Cup 14 September 2013 Ballymount Celtic 4 - 2 Terenure FC 3rds The time for excuses is rapidly coming to an end for Terenure 3rds as the team again failed to live up to it's potential in this cup encounter. Ballymount have made a poor start to their season a division below us so it was always going to be important to start well and put them under pressure early. Unfortunately the game began in exactly the opposite manner and within two minutes ...

The day before ...
UCFL Div. 3 19 August 2013 Sportslink Ailesbury 3rds 1 - 1 Terenure FC 3rds A really tough test out in Sportslink and after a good first half we were eventually fairly glad to leave with a point. With a strong wind behind and continuing our high tempo game from the weekend we had most of the pressure in the first half. Sportslink did go close in the first minute but otherwise didn’t threaten until they opened the scoring against the run of play. The ball ...
UCFL Div. 3 17 August 2013 Wakinstown Athletic 1 - 5 Terenure FC 3rds We travelled to Walkinstown with a strong squad and high expectations and thankfully didn’t disappoint. From the start we took the game to Walkinstown, we played at a good tempo and moved the ball quickly on the slick surface. The midfield pairing of Kavo and Aido are developing a good understanding and took a hold of the game early on. After some promising early play a great strike ...
Life in the early stages of the transition to coach/player has certainly been interesting. Won one, drawn one and lost one to date in pre-season. The loss against a very talented Terenure FC under-19 team will have taught us as much, if not more than, the other results. We're putting together a bigger and hopefully better squad for this season, so there has been plenty of experimentation with players and shape in the games so far. As the new management duo and yours truly build up a better knowledge ...

Terenure FC pre-season has been a busy one to date with good numbers training and a few pre-season friendlies already played. The club has high expectations for all of the senior sides this season and the early signs are very promising. Training will continue in Bushy Park on Tuesday and Thursday for the coming weeks, be ready to start at 7pm if you want to drop down. You can't really miss the Terenure training group as there is around 60 fellas training together. New faces are always welcome. I've ...
Hard to believe it's nearly that time of the year again when we drag our aging bodies back to Bushy Park for pre-season training. Thursday 11 July at 7pm is the date and time to remember. Terenure FC looks likely to have four senior men's teams (3 Saturday, 1 Sunday) and an over 35's side once again, so all skill levels are catered for if you are interested in coming down. The club attracts players from all over Dublin and beyond so don't be shy in coming along, last season there was representatives ...
UCFL Div. 3 29 May 2013 Terenure FC 3rds 1 – 3 Limekiln Wednesday evening drew down the final curtain on what turned out to be a long old season to forget for Terenure FC 3rds. The game proved to be a fitting finale; a good first half, composed, hard-working and effective, followed by a second half collapse and defeat. We actually started this game with more of our regular team than the meeting with the same opposition from the previous week and that seemed to help to ...
UCFL Div. 3 20 May 2013 Limekiln 5 – 2 Terenure FC 3rds Writing these reports is starting to become some sort of ritual torture at this stage. With an ever deepening injury crisis there was a danger we wouldn’t be able to field a team at all for this game, but a few of the lads from the seconds came out and did us a favour, despite their own huge relegation decider looming on Wednesday. Even with the number of changes to the team, including my own first start ...
