another question what happened kenny coleman that he didnt travel is he injured? he is a big game player and hopefully he will be right for galway game:confused:
The defender who conceded the peno admitted in the after match interview it was a clumsy unacceptable challenge, besides our luck has been shocking so we deserved it either way!! Agree with the 4-4-2 for Galway the signs are up already so credit where its due we need it in the News-Letter and maybe a piece in the Inside Cobh could help.

Not a bad result(2-2), very poor performance(by both teams!).
Crackin goal for Harps 1st one.
Kavanagh deserves the credit for his 'Dirk Kuyt' like performance. He battled all day and deserved his equallising goal(even if he did scuff the shot).
At the end of the day was/will 1point be good enough - i had said before this game we needed 6pts from games vs Harps & Galway, to be talking about avoiding relegation.
Masssssssssssssssssssssssive game next week at home - hopefully we can get a crowd at St. Colmans, get behind the team and be vocal(positively) and hopefully spur on the team to a massive performance!!!:ball:

I know I will get ate for saying this, but I have heard a lot of people saying the €15 is very expensive if going with a family etc. How about reducing the fee to €10 and go through the streets of Cobh with a public address to announce the game etc. I would rather see 1000 attending at € 10 a go and than just 300 at € 15. Is this possible??

Great logic behind that answer.
jamesd, the idea of offering people entry for €10 is something most LOI clubs should be looking at. Bigger crowd, better atmosphere and if you get 1000 in rather than 300 people you double your gate receipts.

yes, but if they didnt come for tenner before, why would they come now, you could try it for a game or two and see what happens, i dont think it will make a difference, its not about money, it about mindsets:mad:

On the contrary, it is a lot about money. Why would anyone want to spend € 15 to see the type of football that is been dished out at the moment???
And also in the current economic climate, €15 can be a lot of money to people especially if they are bringing children too. To justify €15, you need to be providing good entertainment both before, during and after the games. A better PA is essential and then the match announcer can create an atmosphere with good music etc.
I personally think a lot of other clubs would agree that €15 is too expensive. Why not the clubs agree the fees??

well think of it this way, the players just took a 30% pay cut, and suddenly wer'e dropping entry prices by a 1/3, now if your a player how does this look,
your stuck for cash but are dropping prices, it doeant matter if its an experiment, your better off getting the 700-900 customers paying 15 each rather than 700-900 paying a tenner i dont really know many people that would be put off by a fiver or 10-15 with kids every second week, people are a lot more wastefull than this
