Olympic Women's Football on RTE

Did anyone see RTE's coverage today of the Women's soccer at the Olympics? Katie Taylor and Noel King were on it, I thought it was good that RTE made a bit of an effort to promote the sport and bring in one of the Irish players into it as well. King Said the Irish seniors will be travelling to USA in September for three games against the Olympic Finalalists, that will be great prep if they make a play off

Did you see the semifinal yesterday? USA/Japan game. Looked like one of those under 9 games where one team realised the keeper couldn't reach the crossbar so just continued to chip the ball over her head. Come on like, surely you can find someone who can reach the crossbar!

Yeah, I agree it was a very good move by RTÉ.

It was good to have a bit of debate on the women's game as well, although Katie was very shy at first.
