Switzerland's Alexander Frei has been credited with the goal after 13 minutes.

This stage I think a Swiss result is the best for us to elimate the Russian threat.

Worst case be a Rusian win, Better a Swiss win than a draw though.

A draw is absolutely the best result. It's the only way we can qualify as group winners.

Didn't see the last two goals, but Russia's second was brilliant.

Not yet.

I just hope that Hakan Yakin will be fit again against Ireland. Things may look different then.

Why the pessimism? A win in Switzerland and we're in the play-offs. To be still in the competition on the last day after our first two results is quite an achievement for Kerr. Also this result makes our draw against the Russians (without our only international class striker) look like a good result.

I'm looking forward to a win against the swiss and another nail-biting play-off.

COME ON IRELAND!

I forgot I was in an Irish forum. I was talking about Switzerland of course.

For Georgia, playing against Russia is always a special motivation, who knows, everything is possible for you as well as for us.

Yes, and Georgia will also be motivated as they will still be in with a chance providing they beat Albania tonight.

Bit pricey for me, I was at the rugby in Murrayfield on Saturday but managed to get back to Glasgow for the last 20 mins of the Russia match, with ten minutes to go the *******s went and put on the bloody English game, it can be frustrating being in a foreign country at times.

Well Georgia lost 3-1 but the match with Russia is against there arch rivals so they will still be up for it. But realistically I cant see Russia losing at home.

I don't know but I think Sky only have the rights to Ireland's home games.

Did not RTE show the Ireland v Russia game as well as the games before the summer?

Sky probably still show the competitive matches in the UK.
