Faith sealed I think even at this stage. Thought we should of got something out of the game, typical of our season so far, surely a peno:mad: team played well in general but for careys distribution again. John meade and Kavs best of the lot.

I am sorry lads but the Manager has to go and to be honest I dont want people jumping on my back for saying it.

You cannot blame the officials for tonights disaster the disaster was the tactics of the Manager. We are playing 4-5-1 at home against what was a poor derry side. We played the smallest player we have against the 2 biggest defender in the league.

Carey what can you say that has not been all ready said on previous threads.

The Manager took off our best players in Mikey and Kenny and left on 2 of our worst players in Davin or Carey.

We have 11 games left and a change needs to be made and if the people in charge and even if Hendo cant see it himself we are in even bigger trouble!!

Dont think cummis would of done any better than the "big two" but kavs was causing them problems. Dav and carey should be dropped.

i know i will get hammered too but i think maybe a change may be needed too
4-5-1 aginst a poor derry team and when we went 442 we looked lost , we had a great 20 minutes at start of game but then we just sat 10 players behind the ball at all times, kavanagh and mikey and greg were excellent and they showed something which others didnt they have a ferocious drive and will to get stuck in whereas some of the others say it as a hot potato,
all the excuses were trotted out after like they were full time team etc but we knew that before the season started and the manager predicted 5th place , just because we are struggling doesnt mean we can start using that excuse, lads last season we played derry in the league cup and that was a far better team than the one tonight, and we gave them a real scare because we attacked, pushed and got in their faces

i am really dissapointed and we have to look at it in cold light of day we are 7 points from safety and we have only won 2 games reality needs to bite decisions need to be made and quickly:mad:

absoulute disaster lads, first goal shouldnt have been a corner, player got a pop shot, hit teh post, bounced off bilkos head, (lucky didnt go straight in) and they scored from the resulting corner, second goal was a superb piece of football, that noone is to blame for, they played down the middle, played out to the left, players followed the ball, derry played it back across to the right, and, bang, goal, superb piece of football (why cant we do that), third goal was a pop shot again noone to blame,

really noone was reall at fault for any goals we were simply out played, it a matter for the manager to determine why we were destroyed when we were sailin for 60 mins,

tonight result in no way reflects the lads performance,

and davin played very well, dunno why mikey and kenny were replaced by players who should should have been replaced by them, baffling

The first half performence was outstanding but what happened in the 2nd half was nothing short of a disgrace:mad:..............They capitulated!

The 1st goal was a result of shocking football. A short corner and McGinn walked from the touchline with the ball untackled and by the time he hit the ball 3 Ramblers players had jumped out of the way and were lying on the ground. It was a shocking piece of defending.........there wasn't a Ramblers player within 6 yards of McGinn from the moment he received the ball.
Then we had a 15 minute period where we remained 4-5-1:confused: and we took off our best player in Mikey and left Davin on!..........mind boggling stuff!

Something has to be done and theres no better time than the present. There's a weeks break where a potential new man can come in and have some time with the team and I know everyone who said it's time for a change will get a tongue lashing from bellavistaman where he'll call us every name under the sun but I for one don't care and it's with great pain and a heavy heart I say:(...............It's time for a change!

Are you totally off your ****ing head or what? Jesus Christ man. Do me one favour and read again that line that I just quoted form your post and tell me that that makes absolutely **** all sense. I swear if you didn't post it here and said that to me in person R14, I'd be ashamed to repeat it.

Just stating the obvious. Nearly everybody has said "it's time for a change" and what I said makes perfect sense.
I'll put it simpler for ya luka:
If the manager leaves a new manager can be appointed and not rushed in to a game within a few days instead he'll have a week to drill his methods in to the players.

It won't matter cause either way were going down. There's only one man who can get us out of this slump and help us avoid relegation.................JESUS!

lads we have collected 11 points out of a possible 66 points and have a goal difference of - 28 goals, if this was an other team in the world there would have been a change long ago, we look tactically naive, we are poor at set pieces and basically alot of players have regressed this season, we have given favourites a game instead of form and i am sick of it, this season is embarassing:mad:

spot on, but we are not poor at set pieces, ken coleman is a dead ball specialist, but he comes into the form issue, he even played last night, and for some reason carey was still takin freekicks and corners,

to much personal **** going on in the backround, and if its not resolved, if were relegated, well be relegated back to back in succesive seasons, as noone will want to stay,

Took this from the RTE website (http://www.rte.ie/sport/soccer/2008/0809/cobhramblers_derrycity.htmlThis) sums our season up really.

As for Ramblers, after 13 years in the First Division, the champions of last season could be heading back to that league after just term in the top flight, as their form of just one home win all season and ten goals from 22 games is really relegation form.

I think 682 was offical number which is terrible but expected going on current form and also with regatta being on aswell cant see it getting any better though as most only come when a team is winning

I would've thought with the Regatta being on it was an opportunity to get MORE people through the gates not less given the fact that the town would be crammed.
