Three more points tonight would go down very very well. Last time we played them at home we were lucky to get a point.

Hopefully a bit of confidence will have been restored after last week's good win. A nice early goal to settle them down tonight would do the job!.

Wel there was an early goal but the wrong way. We were seven shades of ****e against a team who are no better. One of the worst games I have ever seen. How did we beat Limerick?

McKenna for a tall fella cannot jump or even seemed arsed to jump, Jay at least gave his best and made an effort. We kept hoofing balls uppitch for the whole match to no avail. Our defenders were unable to get cose to their fat arsed striker , we stood off and gave him time on the ball. Basic defending out the window.

We couldnt keep the ball from our own throws. Freekicks wasted. No one wanted the ball. No shape, no formation, no passion, no one seemed to give a ****. Harte did we when he came on IMO. I counted four passes as out longest spell of passing before hoofing.

Dark ****ing days.

we were very poor on saturday night. We started alrite, then Kildare scored, and we resorted to long aimless diagonal balls, more often than not comin from Gough's boot.
We were overan in the middle far too often with Rushe poor at time, and Gary murphy having to drift inside meaning when we won the ball, the width wasnt there. I thought Connolly done well when he came on and was unlucky not to score. Chucky did well too, and surely he has to start in the coming games.
Overall another very disappointing performance, i know this season was never gonna be pretty, but the general standard of first division football is very poor

very true.. where have the buckfast army gone? it will be very hard to get this sort of interest ever again...Most of the Buckfast Army didn't really go the first premier season.

Can only talk for myself, but on top of family committments, summer football is a killer for me.

But they were quick enough to be at the cup finals and say they were Section O, Its Ok when you don't live in Longford and have to look after a family but when you live around and watch the SPL and EPL in local pubs you should get out an support your LOCAL club.

fair enough point macy you have a family to support.. but there was a good crew of them that were there for the first cup final.. mind you when you think all the different faces that have bein there over the last seven years young and old in section o where have they gone now we could do with their support but mind you we could do without some of your trouble..

I'm not really arguing the point, as I would rather as many people had stayed it out, but that was 8 years ago. Lots of others have come and gone in the meantime.

It wasn't me it was Chelsea.

sorry about the confusion macy just referrin to a few of the younger section o crew that caused hassle against athlone.. there was never any bother from the older lads..

will say no more on the matter.
