Bray are 11/8. When did we ever win a game without Gavin. Get on !!!!

Business is business. Look at it this way - you'll feel good whether you win or lose.

Even with Peers and Raf out, we should still be able to beat Bray. They're muck. If McT starts then we have a great chance of scoring imo.

You'd think so, but let's be honest, the league table doesn't lie. Bray and ourselves are not worlds apart.

We just need something to go our way in the box. A corner to go in off someone's back, a rebound deflecting in off someone's thigh, anything!

Does anyone know the full squad for tonight?

the league table doesn't lie.I hate that saying because the table does lie. We are better than shams but they're ahead of us. We whooped Bray 3-0 last time, fair enough there's 4 people who started that, that won't be playing tonight but still, if we lose then I think it's unacceptable.

Hardly unacceptable , given as you say we are missing a number of players from that night , if we were better than shams as you say they wouldnt have beaten us twice this season already

11/8 Bad price now , Bray are over 2/1 on betfair now , big gamble on rovers into 13/8 favs. Are Bray missing a few players also?

In their last 6 the only result Bray got was the robbery game v Cobh. they didn't score in the 5 other games and conceded 10

I would go for a scoreless draw, would love to see McT get off the mark if he's playing but i think a draw wouldn't be the worst result against bray right now.

Yeah, but I'm not betting on the last six games.

O'Grady off injured, Curran on. O'Grady's put ice on his thigh...hopefully not too serious.

How are Rovers playing so far ?Better side, couple of good chances, Ryan and Boco went close. We've had more possession just still need someone to put it in the net:(.

0-0 full time. Could be worse but we should have won really.

Rovers probably shaded it overall. We had a few decent chances (ie. shots on target, unlike the Cork game), but nothing that really troubled Gough. McDaid did ok, made some nice runs but the through balls weren't good enough.
Bray could have won it near the end though, Cawley hit the bar from distance.

Shocking crowd altogether, 300 would be an reasonable guess. Probably 50 or so Rovers fans.

Decent Rovers crowd, towards the end of the game it looked fuller, maybe 400. Rommy did well, very dissapointed with Ryan after his great start last week

We had the slightly better chances and more of the play but Cawley had the best effort of the game.
Neither team really deserved to win (or draw if Im honest).
Hard to see where we are going to score from in next 3 games.
Set piece delivery was improved from last few games I thought which is a plus.

Twas quite poor tbh.I'm afraid we are lacking a bit of quality since the departure of murphy and faz(who was actually at the game).

Mcdaid wasn't great. Boco, butler and doherty played well.Mauro isn't as good without peers. We looked a bit more menacing when mct came on.

The linesman on the other side gave rakes of offsides against us that shouldn't have been:mad:.

Shocking crowd there.

One of our better trips to the seaside allbeit the game itself was brutal. As games before we lack the sucker punch, we just seem to be trying to walk the ball home. Cookie knows thats all he has to work with now for the rest of the season but I think maybe he should try and juggle things round somewhat and try something different. One thing I'd try is playing Almeida up front. Certainly would be a great target man, he can head the ball and he can shoot. So why not give it a try, nothing to lose. Peers and Danny will hold the central postion all right and we also have Ralf to come back in. Mauro would certainly cause problems for the opposition, something lets face it we are just not doing at the mo.
Overall happy with draw last night. Broke the sequence of losing and another clean sheet.

Something we also know is that we lack a ball player in the middle of the park and there last night playing for the opposition was one of our own and boy has he got a sweet peg. Don't know how hard it is to handle the lad but I'm sure Cookie would be up to it.

We obviously can't sign Cawley now because the window is closed, let alone the financial aspect. I think Richie Ryan is our great ginger hope as far as a ball playing centre mid is concerned.

Re: Almeida up front, it's an interesting thought. However, I don't think he can 'play' well enough. He's not really comfortable on the ball, look at the amount of times he just hoofs it away when he has time to play it. If we were going to stick a big lad up front, I'd put Butler there ahead of Almeida.

A more logical approach would be to give more time to the Mcs.

Poor game, poor crowd...

Just worrying, that we are unable to find a goal from anywhere at this stage...
