The duck race is on the 16th but you can buy lines/books/ducks this weekend at arthurs quay from 12 to 6 and in the cresent from 12 to 6 from non other then Leo the lion. On the 15th the race night/bbq/lovely lady comp is on at the still house from eight i guess you could still buy ducks there on that night.
