They really struggled for highlights of Sligo v Cork.

We should really nominate Roddy for Trinny & Susannah's 'What not to wear' show.

I am sick and tired of Roddy Collins' pathetic swipes at the league. I enjoy the show but this man is a terrible pundit...a self-absorbed bitter fool with a chip on his shoulder 'cos he can't get a job in the league. Go back to your plastering Shoddy and leave the punditry to people who actually give a damn about the EL.

May have imagined it but did they forget to mention the 1st Division results/table?

Tony O'Donoghue seems to think Finn Park is in the North East. Also, Stephen Kenny said Barry Ryan was in goals for Shams.

Ya this weeks seemed all over the place with the Euro games and the Goal of the Month comp having to be squeezed in. Delighted to see our boys Glynn and Murphy in the GOTM comp. They prob wont win cos of the goals in Euro comps.

TOD is very poor. Can't wait for Con Murphy to get back.

Roddy is a fool. He kept going on about getting sugar daddys in to finance the league. That's not the way to run the league, imo.

I think Roddy's point was that Sugar Daddy's are not good for the League Superfrank. He's still a fool though.

I got the impression that he felt sugar daddys were the only way to finance the league.

I think Roddy just rambles on alot of the time so he probably doesn't know what he is saying himself, the clown.

Given his track record with his "mates" I'd imagine it's much more likely that he's pro sugar daddy than anti.

I think the point is with Roddy is that he is argumentative. The man would argue with himself if he was given the chance.
He's eying Dunphy's position when he retires.

Don't get me wrong I don't care much for him but it's a show at the end of the day. The fact that we are discussing it could show the effect that he is having

Thought that the show last night was ok. I do believe that they try to pack to much into the hour and given the 2 add breaks it does seem rushed - which I guess resulted in the Div 1 results being missed.

TOD did ok with the presentation but the camera work needs to improve in the Studio.

Roddy is a pain in the arse - thought that he was missed when I watched it last week but this week I think that he should be removed from the panel for life. Richie Sadlier is honest and usually is worth listening to. Eoin Hand give a bit of balance to Roddy's rants but bring back Rico.

I've been quite impressed with Richie since he came to Pats. Seems an intelligent sort and I've quite high hopes for him at the club. He's quite good on MNS too.

Bad form they didn't show results or table of the first division. It's bad enough they don't show highlights of it. First division fans are probably furious and I don't blame them

I can't understand why TV3 don't show the first division.

BBC show the Premiership and ITV show the lower leagues and there are no problems. If RTE won't show the 1st Division then I can't see whats stopping TV3.

have these 60 secs interviews been recorded from June or July, almost every player asked 'who will win the first div' answer = shels !!!!!

current odds of 6 or 8/1 on that one.

Nobody seems to be mentioning the two Harps players in a row on sixty??? Last week it was Neil McCafferty and this week it was Shaun McGowan.

I told my missus that MNS did a feature on Galway United last week.
"Why are Marks and Spencer doing a feature on Galway United?" she asked.

To reply to Leixlip Reds' earlier post.

Yes. They DID forget to show the First Division scores,
fixtures and the table.

I've always said that M.N.S. is a brilliant show. But they
will HAVE TO give the first division more time.

When Conor Meade did it they sent a car to Tolka Park when we played Rovers a few weeks ago to pick him up and drive him to RTE.

1) barely want to show the top league
2) don't want to show any of it
3) Are you for real

It's painful enough to have to look at a lot of the fare in the First Division when you're there as a fan without exposing neutrals to it to be honest.

Results, table and upcoming fixtures isn't too much to ask for, surely.

No and they usually have those. I was referring more to the post which called on TV3 to cover the First Division as some sort of an exclusive.

It took MNS three months to give us upcoming First Division fixtures, and now they've binned the results and table without a care. First Division highlights is a long way off me thinks, on any channel.

am i the only one who really enjoyed the show this week?
i love TOD, he really knows his stuff. con is fine but tony is much more professional looking i think.
the harps player again was a bit much tho
loved the interview with ollie cahill, not because it was real insightful, but it showed that RTE are serious about irish football at last. ....i really am starting to believe they are.
first division should not be included in the show. it should be a premier show. you wanna be on it get into the premier. no football highlights show ive seen here or abroad show from lower leagues.
more of Tony i say
