colin o brien is suspended

Cobh Ramblers were fined €1,000 and forfeited the match by 3-0 for failing to fulfil an A Championship match v Cork City (05.07.08).
what does this mean, we didnt field a team or what, isnt it enought it costs us money we dont want to spend, now we get fined for it, joke

Game was postponed at short notice and Ramblers failed to inform the officials instead they just told the players, leaving the officials and some supporters in an empty ground!
Cork City go fined for the incident too. €500 for acting in an unprofessional manner!

It warms your heart when you see a certain Mr. Ian Stokes not on the referee's list!

Yeah, thought both of them were sent off after last game, but definitely no mention of a suspension for Carey in FAI's weekly list of suspensions.

thought o brien was asked later if he got a red card and he said he didnt, cant remeber who said it,

The FAI list is the winner here and only Colin O'Brien is suspended, so we can assume that only Colin O'Brien was red carded after the last game.

...and he didn't even know about it. Says it all about the officials.

that surely isnt right you must have to show the player the card, that means if you attack the ref on the street 2 days later he can say he red carded you at the game

I assume he can send you off up until he finishes his match report which is within a few hours of the match.
But surely he has to show a red card. Colin and Carey were both told by a third party that the referee said to tell them they were sent off..............no standards!
