well our first game of the season is at home colm so thought it better to prospone it and hope the weather improves rather than wreck the pitch

dead right as i said can't blame ye..nobody wants their pitch cut up this early in season..we played 2 friendlies thursday and saturday and our pitch needs a week off.

well it started last night on the church feild...pitch is small but at least it will get played this year...i think the final score was Shannon Town B 0 Bunratty 4.

i'm sure he enjoyed scoring against his old team.. seen a few matches earlier in the week no team really stood out during tournament ... found shannon town very direct long balls ex defence & goalkeeper thought gerry kelly would be trying to get them to play a bit more football :ball:

Gerry Kelly isn't our manager this year...james carrig is....and ya we were pretty direct when we needed to be but why not play to your strengths?? we have keano gerry steven monaghan david fla julio all over six foot.... an alot of our goals came from headers or knock downs so to stop using that would be foolish, but take my word for it when we need to play football we can, i think we'll surprise a lot of teams around limerick this year.

Cheers Old Git...we are quietly optomistic about this season seeing as we had a proper pre-season for the first time in years and we have a manager! :D
