The word on the street is that, following the sacking of McCue, Doolo is off to Drogsville.

If he does I can't say that I'll blame him, no matter how hard he tries he'll never be able to take U.C.D. much further than what we achieved last season. At least Drogheda are a club with a reasonable amount of ambition, a good following and a decent team.

I hope he doesn't, but if he does I won't blame him. I wouldn't blame any player for leaving to got to a bigger club at the moment to be honest with ye.

I know we're kind of down at the moment, but Doolo had the chance to take the Shels job and stayed with UCD. He was early favourite for that as well, and also Kildare. He'll get linked with every job going at the moment, but I think UCD suits him for his job and the RTÉ stuff. He has his kids going around in UCD jerseys like!

He'll probably join now next week after me saying this, but I reckon it'd take a bigger club than Drogheda to tempt Doolo away.

doolo i have been informed has gone on a weeks holidays to portugal. But their is uncertainty that he is actually gone away, cos it goes against everything he stands for. maybe he has hit the costa del drogheda:confused: :

I'm working for UCD. To be fair to them they gave me a chance in management. And nobody has asked me to go anywhere else. I'm on Portugal on holiday and in a way I'm glad to be away when speculation like this surfaces.

I've no comment to make on the subject [of the Drogheda position] except to say that it is unfortunate for Harry. He's a good man and I know how tough a job it is at the bottom of the league. from eleven-a-side.com (http://www.eleven-a-side.com/ucd/story.asp?newsid=7370).

Who knows whether he'll go or not but personally I haven't been overly impressed with him this season. There've been some odd teams picked this season and times when he hasn't made substitutions despite people playing badly.

I'd be surprised if Doolin left UCD for Drogheda. No disrtespect to the Drogs but would have thought Doolin would stay with UCD til a bigger offer came his way.

Given Drogs perilous financial situation last year would seem that they'll once again be in dire money troubles if they got relegated.

On the otherhand nicking your manager may guarantee Drogs at least a playoff spot again?
