I think of all the top 4 sporting are the form team going into the second half of the season and with a couple of new signings(1 being stephen rice) they will kick on and win the league.

Every team picks up a rough patch. We havn't had ours yet and it will come and probably finish off the push. I always targeted next year myself for a promotion push. Still they are surpassing my expectations. We havn't signed Rice by any chance? As if he would play in the First Division.

he will be signing, only has interest from derry and cork. but isn't interested in a move outside dublin.

How do you know this though? Not questioning you, just wondering what makes you so confident.

I have heard from a friend who grew up with him, if pats or bohs dont come in he'll be signed by end of window. he wont go to bray or ucd to be involved in relagation. but will sign for us or shels!! shels cant afford him tho. and liam buckley has promised him of 2 more big signings by end of window

Pat Scully blocked Rice's move to us.

You mean Shamrock Rovers wouldn't agree to the terms offered by Fingal.

One loss in 8 and everyone's in saying no chance. If we beat Dundalk at home next we're still in the picture.

One person put it up. Besides we've as good a chance as any other behind Dundalk. Do you not predict promotion for Dundalk when you're talking amongst yourselves?

And what does that have to do with S.F not being around for the past 2 season's?

Just wondering what size crowds do you get at home and if you go up will you survive financially? A lot of experienced clubs in the premier league are in big trouble at the moment.Do you think you'd be able to pull a couple of thousand every second week?

The crowds are not great. Overall we have averaged around the 600 to 650 mark. But in fairness the crowds since the break have been pretty poor. At a guess id say 250 to 300. Hoping for better this friday against Dundalk. Dundalk tend to have a very good away support.
Hard to say how much of an improvement in crowds we would get if we got promoted. We are financially stable for the next 4 to 5 years investment wise. After that who knows. Hopefully crowds will have increased in that period of time, moving to a new stadium in swords is vital.
