Athlone Town made it four homes wins on the bounce when they totally over powered bottom of the table side Kildare County.
They got off to the best possible start when a Joey Maloney corner was met by the head of Jim Sheridan who put the ball in the net with just 90 seconds of the game gone.
In the second half Eric Lavine came on as a substitute and scored one of the best goals seen in Lisstwollen when he turned on a ball resulting from a free kick and stroked the ball home. He then scored a second from close range after a corner wasn’t cleared. Next match is away to Sporting Fingal on Saturday 30th July. Kick off 3pm

A three course meal will be held in a local hotel on the afternoon of the match (approx 4pm). It will be attended by Niall Quinn who will give an after dinner speech.

Half Tables can also be catered for.
Price does not include tickets but these can be arranged when booking. There is a limited quantity of tables available for this event. (less than 10 remain)
There will be draws for signed merchandise during the event and all people attending this will also get access to the post match paying bar in the ground. This will be a fully functional bar with draught / bottles etc available.
Free buses will be provided to bring people from hotel to game prior to kick off.
Everyone attending will receive a free souvenir match day programme.
