last week we played galway, we were muck, the only person to create a chance was emeka when he came on in second half, he had two shots early and another one or two during the 45 minutes..paul dunphy did not come on during this match and myler came on with 15 minutes to go and did nothing.. so why was emeka not even on the bench last night(he was not down as injured)..paul dunphy came on last night after 77 minutes and myler after 85 minutes.. surely because emeka played well enough in galway he should have been given the start in derry...

eddie has always said that it's one match at a time, the friendlies don't mean much, ie put out our second or under 20 team for these matches.. i still feel that he should have put emeka out againest derry last week, dunphy did not come on against you and myler got 15 minutes and emeka looked dangerous in second half so why did'nt he start the next match. surely these players can play two league matches in a week..

can see these friendlies being a disaster really if we put out an A or u-20 team it simply makes for a stupid scoreline and we just look crap to any new onlookers!

Have to agree. We've done this in the past by playing the first team and taking most of them off in the second half. We hold these teams until we start making changes then we end up getting beaten by 4 or 5. it's not good when you are trying to promote the club to people that normally don't come to games. Millwall game will be a total waste of time. At least there will be a good crowd for Leeds so a chance to make some money. Let's hope we put up a good show.

I'd rather we get trounced in the friendlies then against Bohs or Galway.

I don't think these friendlies are going to attract any new fans anyway, whether we play well or not. They're just there so we can make a bit of money from Irish-based Leeds and Millwall fans.
