In the last 2 years, I have been at:

The Showgrounds (obviously, since I'm a Rovers fan)
Tolka Park
Flancare Park
United Park
Belfield Bowl
St. Coleman's Park
Richmond Park
Morton Stadium
Station Road

Funnily enough, I haven't managed to get to Dalymount yet, even though it's probably the closest stadium to where I live.

No cover for away support in the rain. The toilets are a disgrace. The stewards treat you like a criminal. No food or drinks available for away fans. All in all, not a pleasant place.

No cover for away support in the rain. The toilets are a disgrace. The stewards treat you like a criminal. No food or drinks available for away fans. All in all, not a pleasant place.

They had food when we were there, other than that I agree with everything you say. The stewarding is an absolute joke, one of them got the hump with one of our lads when he refused to turn out his pockets on the grounds that the steward had no legal right to do so. The away stand is a mess, and the 'event co-ordinator' in Morton stadium had us moved from the left hand section of the stand to the centre of the stand, for reasons unknown to us (the whole stand was just for Limerick fans). Plus there seemed to be schooligans milling in at random from a hill behind one of the goals, didn't look like they were paying customers so it must be easy to jump in. Oh and I walked up to the away gate at 7.10 and they hadn't opened it or got tickets down yet, so the steward told me to go down to the home gate to get in, so I wlaked down there and was told I couldn't get in there as I wasn't a Fingal fan and had to go back up to the away gate. I got up there and had to wait for another 10 minutes before they opened the gate. Absolutely worst away ground to go to

Haven't been to the Brandywell, Richmond Park, Carlisle grounds, the Showgrounds or the Youths stadium yet.

Turners Cross is the best I've seen, Dalymount is my favourite location (I pass it twice a day and like how it's a proper community fixture), and St Coleman's is my favourite trip (the pub is fantastic and the atmosphere is always good when we play there)

Been to them all except the Belfield bowl which is the closest one to where I live. Will get to a game there in the next month or so maybe even Monday night.

Past grounds visited used for LoI include Markets Field, Pike Rovers, Rathbane, Flower Lodge, Bishopstown, (saw Collingwood cup and underage Internationals in the Mardyke), Kilcohan Park, Greyhound Stadium Thurles, Demense Newcastlewest, Crowley Park Galwegians, RFC, Rugby Sportsground, Ballindereen GAA and Carraroe GAA, St Mels Park, Abbeycarton, Tennypenny Park, Lourdes Stadium, Milltown, RDS, Harolds cross, Whitehall, old Belfield,

AFAIK the only ground I've missed (used regularly) since the early 70's was seeing Monaghan in Belgium Park.

I've been to disappointingly few, as have been scattered around the world since I left Derry as a schoolkid, and Summer football means I'm denied my Christmas EL fix :

Brandywell
Finn Park
Sligo Showgies
Turners Cross
Tolka
Dalymount
Richmond Park
Harold's Cross (back in the day...)
Abbeycarton (ditto...)

Been to nearly as many Irish league grounds (Institute, Limavady, Dungannon, Glentoran, Linfield), due to always catching some sort of football when I'm back for Chrimbo

Not the longest list in the world but could be worse;

Dalymount
Tolka
Richmond
Santry
Carlisle Grounds
Station Road
Ferrycarrig Park

Will try to get out to UCD this season. Quite possibly Friday night.
I've walked around the outside of Tallaght Stadium a load of times too!

The stewards in Santry were OK when we were there. All the fans were in the same stand, food was available to everyone.

The fella who runs the chip van in Kildare is a bit nuts, the curry chips and quarter pounder were pretty good though.

GUFCT, there is a chance you may be over yet this season with the semi finals of the League Cup being drawn next Monday.

Ferrycarrig Park seems to be on most people's 'to do' list and I assure you all that you will be mightily impressed

Tennypenny Park that was the original name of Buckley Park wasn't it?

And I'd like to ask the forum, what consitutes a visit? Does it have to be an eircom league match, any grade of a football game or any sports event function?

Because I've been to most grounds except Wexford Youths Ferrycarrig park, but I saw 20 minutes of a local Limerick league game involving Pike Rovers, an U21 quarter final at Bishopstown, first time I was at the Morton was the National Athletic Championship weekend.

Like, if someone went to "Sunstroke" music festival in Dalyer years ago, could that be viewed as a visit? If they remembered like.

You going down to the A League next year?

I'm missing Limerick and Athlone's new grounds (though was at Pike Rovers' ground and St Mel's), Morton Stadium and technically Ferrycarrig Park, though I was at the back pitch for a pre-season friendly. Can add Belfield Park and Buckley Park to the list as well. Non-league clubs - Wayside Celtic, TEK United, Salthill Devon and Cherry Orchard (to play Bluebell). Think that's all.

All bar Wexford and Limerick. Even back when Limerick were decent for some reason I always missed Limerick. Haven't been to any of their grounds. Going to wexford soon in the cup too.

Loads of old grounds too. Was even in Terryland when it was the other way around. I've seen 4 teams play home games in Richmond (Pats, Rovers, Dublin City. Dundalk) 3 teams play home games in Harolds Cross (Shels, Pats Galway), 4 teams play home games in Dalymount (Bohs, Rovers, Pats, Dublin City), 7 in Tolka (Home Farm, Pats, Shels, BOhs, ROvers, Dublin City, St James Gate)

Some league for ground changes...
