So where was the flowing football, the unbeatable tactics, the indomitable home support, the fiery bond between team and fans?

We beat youse with a makeshift team - one suspended, three players off injured, ended up with three playing completely out of position. Dolan, Dolan, what's the score?

I guess the sun just set on that new dawn youse were waffling about recently. :D

I have to ask this question.
Why is that SPA are NEVER able to put out a full team?
They ALWAYS say they have an "understrength", "makeshift" "fringe players" side.
Two wins in a row, it's f*cking Christmas in the ghetto

typical uninformed corky

that would be 5 wins on the trot now,
including away win in dollymount and yer little ground.
progression into the fai cup 1/4 finals
also don't forget to throw in a league cup aswell.

To be fair now, its a sorry indictment of the league that a team as bad as SPA can go top of the league. Two break away goals against Derek Coughlan isnt something id get overly excited about.

We were poor last night, very poor, yet we totally outplayed ye shower. Apart from Foley and Prendeville, ye had no one. Osam isntt a 1/4 of the player he was, Bird is NOT a good player and Adamson made a few good saves.

As for ye're little flags  .

And that guy who was running around by ye're dugout? what a horrid little troll of a "man". His tactics ye say are brilliant, well, ye saying that Dolan is a hoof merchant, well what the hell is that grey haired trolls game? All ye did was hoof ball after ball.

Get worked up by who?
Come on wws, the only guy who gets into a frenzy is Collins as he whinges, moans and bitches about Dolan. He cannot pass a microphone without having a cut at PD, going on about the "bond between team and fans", unity at the club, team tactics, how he tracked each and every player since they were born, Brian Kerr, blah blah blah blah......Ye may not want to see or hear this, but really listen to him and his bitterness the next time he gets near an interviewer.

Actually ..... Everything i read from Dolan (including pre match) was glowing praise for Pats, nothing like it is being made out to be by some people.

His programme notes had a fair few digs at Pats. Some very similar to those Collins gave months ago. I reckon Collins got it out of his system as he's had nothing but praise for Dolan since.

Yawn.
Boring.
SPA hate Dolan.
CCFC fans don't.
End of story.
Do we really need this topic rehashed every 2 weeks?

Indomnitable home support? The atmosphere was ok for the first few mins until pats football put most of us to sleep!
Only one team played ball out there and it was City.
As for the bond- compare the team and manager applauding the crowd after to what used to happen under the previous regime and you can work that out yourself.

Makeshift team. Sure. Osam is doubtful and pats never field a full team. got it in one. City played a shocking second half and derek coughlan was auditioing for the muppet show and "youse" were still lucky to win. Hardly a cause for such triumphalism!
