Lads, they were shocking today. Your lads barely got a kick of the ball.
Someone on our forum said Limerick didn't do anything other than show up!

Who was on the team? Were they young lads or deadwood from the senior squad or what? I didn't know any of them.

Wouldnt go as far as saying shocking but most of the A team is going to double as our under 20s side. You must remember that our team is the A team for a first division side, the only first div side who bothered to enter. Your A team had a fair spattering of first team players (reg and transfer listed) and for now at least you, are a full time premier outfit. I thought our back four were rock solid, we had one or two unfit players on show but its a team in building with more players to be added in the comming days/weeks. Oh it was 1 0 by the way

Have L37 employed a manager and other staff to operate the A team or are staff that were already at the club filling these roles?

Yes, Limerick have employed Mick Shiel as A team manager and Paul O'Donnell as Assistant manager.

Would their wages not be better spent on the first team no?

I'd go mad if Dundalk were wasting money on an A Team they weren't required to have at the expense of the first team.

Well I know the majority of the A team squad are signed as amatuers so its a possibility the coaching staff are aswell but I doubt it.

I would also feel the same if the first team were challenging for promotion but Its obvious the first team won't be this season. Therefore I think its best if we spend money on the future of the club and bring in good young players. Good, brave idea from Limerick I think.

Why are L37 "A" playing home games in Ennis? another cunning plan by FAI/Limerick 37/John Delaney FC to spread the Eircom League into unknown territory???

If you know of someone who will give us their ground in Limerick let the club know.
What was the other 'cunning plan' may I ask?

Senior team is barely left use that, let alone the 20's and A team.

The story goes that there was a few clubs who said they were willing to help the club out around the Limerick area but then pulled out.
